This collection of flower plots (or radial bar charts) represents the relative prevalence of six common suffixes that are often appended to each term.

Each of these terms is used in many different ways, but we can here see some clear differences in the kinds of thing that each one is thought to be. For example, critical thinking is most often referred to as a skill, whereas systems thinking is most often referred to as an approach, etc.

The flower plots are normalised so that each term has the same total 'score' across the six most common suffixes, but what variation is there in whether the terms are appended with any of these suffixes?

This Marimekko plot represents how often any of the six common suffixes are appended to each term.
Note that creative thinking, critical thinking and visual thinking are often followed by these suffixes, but this is less common for systems thinking or logical thinking. This is indicated by the height of each bar and quantified in the pop-up information. As with the flower plots, the relative prevalence of each suffix is indicated by the width of each sub-bar. Because some terms only rarely use these suffixes, their height on this plot would be invisible compared to the others. For this reason, it is useful to view them seperately.

Having explored how the terms are used, why not investigate the relations between them, or how people and groups might be profiled with respect to them?
